What is P.E.M.F. Therapy?
Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field therapy is a soothing and restorative modality that stimulates and exercises the cells to address cellular dysfunction and support overall wellness.
Imagine your cells as batteries — daily stressors slowly drain them of the energy they need to function optimally. By the end of the day, your body, mind, and soul may feel completely depleted. That’s where PEMF technology comes in! PEMF generates energy at the cellular level without medically invasive procedures. This amplification of natural energy encourages the body to function more effectively for overall wellness. By stimulating and exercising the cell, PEMF addresses dysfunction where it starts (at the cellular level). Users often report feeling relaxed during a PEMF session and energized afterwards!

-
PEMF (Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Field Therapy) is an alternative therapy that utilizes electromagnetic wave technology at varying frequencies to stimulate the body’s natural recovery process. PEMF Therapy offers healing for a variety of conditions, as well as maintains and optimizes overall cellular health.¹
-
Think about a time where you may have tried to force two magnets to stick together. You probably felt a bit of resistance. This type of resistance that you’ve felt is produced by a static magnetic field. The type of magnetic field that PEMF uses is an electromagnetic field. The magnetic field is being generated by electric current, creating a physical field produced by moving electrical charges.²
-
PEMF Therapy works by optimizing cellular function. The magnetic fields are attracted to the lower voltage cells of the body. In people this can often be felt in their specific area of discomfort. This can be from the higher concentration of cells in need. Encouraging these cells to release their toxins and waste, oxygen and nutrients are now able to enter the cell, which brings up the voltage and ability to normalize cellular function. In horses you can actually feel and see the areas where best to apply PEMF therapy. There may be more activity seen or felt, unique pulsing patterns, and subtle reactions from the horse which guide me in my sessions. Animals tend to exhibit relaxation and satisfying releases during their PEMF sessions.

Some of the benefits of PEMF Therapy include (but are not limited to):
Increases circulation
Reduces inflammation
Increased range of motion
Improves tissue oxygenation
Enhances muscle function
Improves athletic performance
Alleviates muscle and joint discomfort

High intensity P.E.M.F. therapy is recommended for those experiencing acute or chronic conditions. A high-intensity PEMF therapy system may help improve the conditions relatively quickly depending on the severity.
Low intensity P.E.M.F. therapy works similarly to high intensity P.E.M.F. therapy but is designed to be used more regularly to achieve the desired results. Low intensity P.E.M.F. therapy is often recommended to help maintain good health and act as prevention.³

The BEMER is an FDA registered medical device that uses PEMF technology to deliver BEMER’s patented therapeutic signal into the body. For humans, experience the BEMER body mat, while horses experience the BEMER blanket and leg cuffs.⁴ The BEMER system works to improve circulation by up to 28% percent using their patented biorhythmic impulse that is transmitted into your body via an electromagnetic field. This stimulates microcirculation and general blood flow throughout your body.⁵
Blood vessels use a motion called 'vasomotion' that helps deliver important nutrients and oxygen-rich blood to your body's cells. When vasomotion is not working properly, blood flow slows and circulation decreases.⁵
-
The BEMER works from the inside, with the BEMER signal creating healthy microcirculation, regulating the body on a cellular level. The BEMER improves impaired pumping movement of small vessels that are needed to distribute blood. Cells throughout the body receive nutrients needed to increase blood flow and oxygen allowing them to perform their tasks.⁴
The BEMER system helps to improve vasomotion along the microcirculation, or the small capillaries, that directly feed the cells and tissues of your body. In essence, it massages these vessels to help them function more completely. Lack of blood flow means low levels of oxygen and nutrients are delivered to the tissues which can manifest as low energy, poor fitness, pain, poor sleep and chronic stress.⁵

Some of the amazing benefits of the BEMER include:
Improves Microcirculation
Enhance Oxygen and Nutrient Supply
Improves Local Blood Flow
Enhance Waste Removal
Improve Physical Fitness
Enhance Endurance and Energy
Improve Vitality and Wellbeing
Enhance Relaxation
Reduce Stress
Enhance Sleep Regulation
Improve Sleep Management
